Spa Therapist

About the role:

The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is looking for a Spa Therapist who shares a passion for excellence, conveys a positive attitude and epitomizes honesty and integrity.

The Spa Therapist will perform body treatments according to established Four Seasons protocols. The Spa Therapist also complies with Four Seasons core and culture standards. This position ensures all guests experience pure peace and relaxation.

The position reports to the Director of Spa and Assistant Spa Manager.

What you will do:

• Greet guest and answer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide information about spa services and products, able to upsell treatments and retail products accordingly.
• Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers to ensure the smooth operation at all time and coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Perform spa treatments and ensure the guest preferences are met as well as guest's satisfaction
• Ensure Four Seasons Benchmark Standard are always followed
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in Spa
• Other duties and projects as assigned

What you bring:

• M ust have existing work authorization to work in the country of Thailand
• Proficient in English communication
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Confident outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full-time position
• The working hours will primarily be early morning, days, during weekdays and weekends.

This is a full-time remote role for a Massage Therapist. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing various types of therapeutic massages, including Shiatsu and body massage, to help clients manage stress and improve their overall well-being. The role also requires delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. The Massage Therapist will consult with clients to develop personalized massage therapy plans and maintain a clean and professional workspace.

Qualifications

• Therapeutic Massage, Shiatsu, and Body Massage skills
• Experience in Stress Management techniques
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain client confidentiality
• Certification in Massage Therapy or a related field
• Ability to work independently and remotely

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver customized fitness sessions, including Thai boxing, Pilates, functional training, mobility, and strength workouts.

• Teach Thai boxing fundamentals stance, striking techniques, pad work, defense in a safe and engaging way.

• Monitor progress and adapt training plans as needed.
• Provide professional massage therapy sessions (sports massage, deep tissue, or recovery-focused).
• Incorporate stretching and mobility techniques to support overall wellness and injury prevention.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, hygiene, and client confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
• Licensed Massage Therapist (with valid license for massage in (your country/region)).
• Demonstrable experience teaching Thai boxing (or Muay Thai), ideally with a certificate or track record.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Professional liability insurance covering both training and massage.
• Minimum 13 years of combined experience in personal training and massage therapy.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, exercise physiology, injury prevention, and recovery.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in functional training, HIIT, mobility work.
• Pilates certification (Mat Pilates minimum).
• Knowledge of nutrition coaching basics.
• Background in self-defense coaching or related martial arts.
• Experience with assisted stretching or myofascial release (within scope of massage license).
• Flexibility to provide in-home sessions with own equipment.

Location: Nassau, Bahamas, relocation is necessary.
