NIST is seeking an effective, collaborative educator to join our team. This full-time Student Support Coach position involves working alongside a team of coaches to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioural needs of a small group of students.

● Prepare learning resources and support differentiation strategies.

● Attend planning meetings and share feedback with the team and parents.

● Use technology effectively to enhance learning.

● Uphold NIST's professional and safeguarding standards.

Additional Responsibilities

●    Be familiar with NIST child safeguarding policy

●    Be aware of abuse risks to children

●    Abide by the Code of Conduct

●    Be vigilant

●    Prevent abuse/protect children

●    Report concerns (mandatory duty)

●    Challenge poor practice/promote good practice

Qualifications & Other Requirements

●    Bachelor's degree in Education or any related field

●    Minimum of 2 years teaching or relevant educational experience

●    Experience working with neurodiverse learners is preferred.

●    Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.

●    Preferred: Familiarity with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or Diploma Programme (DP).

Overall conditions are:

• Support the student 1-1 during classroom from hrs.
• Hire directly with student's parents and work with student on site
• Salary will be paid from parents
• Salary won't be paid during school closes

Please note that the school won't take responsible for visa & work permit as the position is hired by the parents

• Safeguarding Training & Police check report

About the role

In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing the student experience and fostering strong connections with our growing alumni network.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinating and organising a wide range of student events, activities and initiatives to enrich campus life
2. Providing comprehensive support and guidance to students, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner
3. Developing and implementing strategies to engage our alumni, facilitating networking opportunities and strengthening their ties with the institute
4. Maintaining accurate student and alumni records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
5. Collaborating with various departments to promote student welfare and alumni engagement
6. Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of student services and alumni relations programmes

What we're looking for

1. Demonstrated experience in student affairs or alumni relations, ideally within a higher education setting
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
3. Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities, with a keen eye for detail
4. Proficiency in using relevant software and technology to support student and alumni engagement
5. A passion for enhancing the student experience and fostering alumni connections
6. Familiarity with the local education system and regulatory requirements (desirable)
