Job Purpose

Job Purpose

The Talent Management Specialist plays a key role in advancing the Global Talent Management (GTM) strategy at Valvoline Global Operations. Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive performance management strategies and processes.
  • Design and oversee a fair and consistent performance appraisal system, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate continuous feedback mechanisms to enhance employee performance, providing coaching and support as needed.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential employees, creating and implementing talent development plans to optimize individual and organizational success.
  • Lead the development and implementation of succession planning initiatives, identifying critical roles and ensuring a robust pipeline for key positions.
  • Collaborate with HR and department heads to enhance employee engagement through various initiatives that foster job satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize HR analytics to track, analyze, and report on performance and talent metrics, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Work closely with the Learning and Development team to align training programs with performance and talent objectives.
  • Facilitate training sessions on performance management and talent development for managers and employees.
  • Plan processes and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for various positions within the organization
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in performance and talent management roles.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data for informed decision-making.
  • Experience in designing and implementing talent development programs.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and performance management software.
