Our Data Management & Analytics Business Unit offers a one-stop data management service to transform businesses through effective data utilization. Data management roadmaps are used to analyze the current situation of our clients based on industry trends, based on which we evaluate the level of data maturity and then create a road map for data utilization, system re-structuring and organizational reform if necessary.
Based on more than 100 data analysis cases, we also support advanced data analytics, including topics like the selection and launch of AI services, training programs and other organization setups that clients would prefer to execute in-house.
Finally, we offer support for full data management platform constructions by combining dashboards, analysis tools, ETL tools, DWH, and others, to supply you with the optimal platform for each individual situation.

About the job
- As part of Data Management & Analytics team, you will engage in consulting business with area of: Database and ETL development, BI dashboards development, Project Management, Data Governance, and General IT Skills.
- Some of the tasks we might expect you to do:
- Lead data related initiatives including business strategy development, proposal development and end-to-end Project delivery planning
- Manage multiple project teams, define and schedule project tasks / sub-tasks, and ensure their timely completion within the planned timeline and budget.
- Track and report project progress in an effective way and recommend the next course of actions to management team and decision makers across various functional groups
- Have general understanding of IT tools used for documentation, analysis and presenting results in Corporate environment
Qualifications
- Have at least 3 10 years of general Project/Program management experience
- Have experience in database related projects, including data warehousing & business intelligence
- Having agile project management methodologies experience will be an advantage
- Have pro-active business development mindset with up to date understanding of latest trends, technologies and consumer needs.
- Have strong networking and clients relationship building skills

- Good logical thinking

- General Background
The Data Management intern will support in the coordination of data management efforts across UNHCR Thailand's operations for Urban and Camps. In Thailand, data is at the heart of evidence-based planning, protection, and service delivery for persons of concern (PoCs), including refugees, asylum seekers, stateless persons, and host communities.
A Data Management Intern supports this critical function by ensuring timely data entry, integrity, and dissemination—contributing to UNHCR's mandate to deliver data-driven assistance. Structure, standards, and systems (such as proGres v4) are employed to compile, analyze, and visualize data to inform decision-making.
The role has strong emphasis on supporting operational data (including individual-level data), conducting data quality assurance, promoting responsible data sharing, and advancing data-driven decision-making across the office and inter-agency platforms.
Purpose and Scope of Assignment
Generate statistical and summary reports, tables, charts, and infographics to support internal and external information needs.
- Ensuring that electronic files are properly categorized, securely stored, and accessible in accordance with UNHCR's data protection policies and confidentiality standards.
- Supporting the transition from paper-based documentation to digital formats, ensuring compliance with UNHCR's digital archiving and retention procedures.
- Assisting in the organization, scanning, uploading, and digital filing of documents, including registration forms, RSD/RST decisions, case correspondence, and protection assessments, using established naming conventions and folder structures.
- Performing data cleaning, validation, and quality control checks in coordination with the Information Management Officer or Registration team.
