The Senior IT Manager oversees the planning, execution, and support of IT infrastructure, venue systems, and digital technologies for UOB Live. The role ensures that technology supports smooth event operations, ticketing platforms, customer service, and internal processes. This includes real-time system reliability, cybersecurity, and the implementation of innovations that elevate guest experience and business efficiency. The role also serves as a strategic technology advisor to senior management, supporting decision-making aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Strategy & Event Technology Planning
- Develop IT strategies that align with UOB Live's operational needs, guest experience goals, and business growth.
- Plan and implement venue-specific technology systems including digital ticketing, event control systems, and audio-visual tech integration.
- Support IT planning for concerts, exhibitions, and large-scale events.
Venue Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Maintain and oversee IT infrastructure across the venue (Wi-Fi, servers, network zones, POS, Digital Signage, LED Façade, Broadcast Fiber, ticketing kiosks, access control).
- Ensure system uptime during live events and readiness for high-traffic operations.
- Manage software and systems used for operations, FOH, and BOH coordination.
- Oversee hybrid environment: on-prem server rooms, Azure / Microsoft 365, Fortinet SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, fiber backhaul.
- BCP / Disaster-Recovery plans, annual failover test.
- Establish monitoring dashboards (SNMP, NetFlow, log analytics) with SLA alerts.
