Position: Senior Project Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design of hardware and plastic products using C REO.
• Prepare 2D/3D drawings, BOM, specifications, and manage ECN/ECR processes.
• Oversee mold assembly records and modification notices to support manufacturing.
• Coordinate design reviews, testing, and ensure FA data meet customer specifications.
• Guide product development from design to mass production.
• Lead team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.

• Develop product process flows to support production planning.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in MECHANICAL engineering or related field.

• Strong knowledge of metal stamping and plastic injection molding processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare BOM and follow up on engineering change (EC) activities.
• Create part drawings, arrange sample production, and monitor progress.
• Follow up mold development and modifications until product meets FA requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end sample processing including plating, riveting, welding, painting, and final assembly.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments to ensure smooth product development and production launch.
• Assist in communication with customers via email or phone under supervision.

Job Summary

Responsible for project engineering coordination for the department including, but not limited to activities related to Project development, execution, initiating requisitions and review of Terms & Conditions.  This position has responsibility and accountability for ensuring engineering schedules, providing engineering with man-hour forecasts and engineering budgets on assigned projects. This position is the technical manager of the project and communicates technical issues with the Project Manager and the Customer. This position will involve customer visits and other business-related activities such as support for project kick off meetings and site walk downs as necessary for projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manages and leads the technical aspect of the assigned projects during contract execution.
• Review and/or checking of Control Drawings.
• Documents all project information and controls the "project file". Contents include design calculations, correspondence, purchase orders, drawing schedule, external supplier and subcontractor drawings and operating instruction book data.
• Development and coordination of O&M manual as required.
• Works and communicates effectively with the Project Manager, Engineering Discipline Managers and other departments to achieve project objectives.
• Conducts and participates in team meetings, meetings with support personnel, and meetings with the customer to provide up-to-date project status reports/submittals in order to anticipate and solve project issues.
• Maintains a project's engineering schedule for all assigned projects by coordinating tasks with Discipline Managers and project team personnel to account for changes in the specification and inputs from Vendors and other departments
• Manages project specifications and communicates the impact of specification changes on project estimate and schedule to the appropriate groups.
• Assists in developing and maintaining project man-hour forecasts.
• Attends engineering meetings providing resource requirements for engineering
• Prepares weekly management reports providing status of projects
• Assists in review of customer technical specifications and commercial terms & conditions to ensure compliance or address noncompliance as required.
• Provides on-site support to vendors, and manufacturing.
• Represents the Engineering Department internally and externally as directed, including traveling when needed.
• Facilitates required design improvements/innovation projects based on customer inputs
• Review proposals, RFQ's, proposal schedules and technical reports.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in mechanical, chemical or metallurgical Engineering or closely related field, preferred.  Demonstrated knowledge and technical competency based on past performance may substitute for degree.
• Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of company standards and applications.
• Knowledge of various codes (ASME BPVC.I, NBIC, B31.1, etc.) desirable, including product application.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of HRSG or boiler operations, design philosophy, principles and details of application.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project engineering of HRSG, Boiler or power plant projects.
• Must have a valid passport and be able to travel when required.
• Must be resourceful, organized and able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to requests.
• Good command in English, both written and spoken.
