JOB SUMMARY:

• Monitor, Improve & Sustain tooling and related equipments performance to meet KPI commitments and work closely with other tooling staff to achieve the above.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor Tooling & Equipment performance, initiate activities using Lean & Six Sigma techniques to improve there performance to achieve good Quality and Reliability.
• Generate necessary documents related to Tooling/ Machine maintenance and ensure ISO requirements are met.
• Schedule Tooling / Machine PM & maintain records of the Maintenance activity – through implemented documents.
• Proper and Timely feedback to immediate superior on performance & improvements.
• Review and Analyze Quality Issues of running Product and initiate improvement activities for concerns related to Tooling / Machine to achieve BIC products.
• Initiate and follow up corrective actions on Quality Issues, Process & design Improvements.
• Improve Working Methods, House Keeping and Discipline in the Shop Floor. Practice safe Working Methods in handing Tooling and Equipments.
• Shall be a liaison between online tooling team and customer departments.
• Perform other duties and assume accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required:

• Bachelor Degree in related Engineering field.

Skill Required:

• Effective Management and Communication Skill.
• Statistical analysis skill (SPC, DOE, FMEA, six sigma)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up machine tools for production to keep them accurate and efficient.
• Perform machining work for spare parts and repairs, including making and fixing machine parts.
• Analyze tool breakdown issues with Maintenance (MT) and Production (PD) teams and take quick preventive actions to avoid repeats.
• Check and prepare spare and consumable parts, keep stock optimized, and inspect incoming parts against the latest drawings.
• Standardized tool-making processes, including setup, adjustments, and preventive maintenance, to reduce lead time.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs: plan follow-ups, ensure parts and tools are available, provide work instructions, report abnormalities with solutions.
• Reduce costs for consumable parts while maintaining production quality.
• Follow and support all company policies and standards (rules, Code of Conduct, data privacy, anti-bribery, security, safety, QMS, BRC, Halal, ISO, food safety, and environmental health).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer, or Tooling Engineer or related field
• 5+ years' experience in Tooling Pin & Die from international manufacturing environments will be advantage
• Good technical skill in tooling pin & die includes cutting tools
• Expertise in predictive and preventive maintenance for tooling
• Ability to set up, qualify, and calibrate tools & die
• Standard tool setting
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers, roughness meters, precision alignment tools (e.g., laser, dial gauge), fit and tolerance checks, and torque control
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Technical Drawing (Tooling, Component, Spare parts)
• Management and control of tooling spare parts
