KPMG's Customs group is a tax practice within the Indirect Tax division that develops and helps implement customs and international trade services for clients in a variety of industries, including the pharmaceutical, textile, automotive, electronics, food/retail distribution and global manufacturing industries. In delivering these trade and customs services, KPMG's professionals endeavor to add value to clients' businesses by focusing on duty savings and customs compliance initiatives to facilitate bottom-line cash savings, reduce potential exposure from customs compliance violations, and improve operational efficiencies

Responsibilities

• Provide assistances to managers in handling client's assignments
• Review tariff classification, customs valuation, customs and BOI formalitiesand compliance, customs privileges compliance, import tax planning andexcise tax compliance
• Conduct a research on local and international trade laws and regulationsthat may have an impact to the client
• Communicate with trade & customs-related government authorities inorder to facilitate clients' work
• Prepare documents by using appropriate business terms and technicallanguage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Legal, Accounting, Economics or relatedfields.
• Working experience in customs, logistics, export & import or internationaltrade field is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation capability with ability tocompromise and negotiation.
• Good command of English
• Computer literacy especially Microsoft Office

• Coordinates with customs brokers in processing clearance for all shipments.

• Coordinates and support Board of Investment (BOI) section for the details of shipment.

• Coordinate and follow up with local worldwide freight forwarder for incoming / outgoing shipment.

• Coordinate with supplier, people for full support on the urgent shipment.

• Check import-export documents related to the Free Zone.

• Sourcing and purchasing goods and services from foreign countries.

• Overseas purchasing and coordination with person in charge & supplier for import the goods.

• Tracking shipment status throughout the shipping process to ensure that it arrives at its destination on time.

• Coordinating with other departments within the company to ensure that shipments meet legal requirements

• Coordinates with suppliers for clearing the shipments and bringing them into store on timely manner.

• Supervise and coordinates with forwarding agents, government affair and other section in support of a smooth process.

• Register cosmetics in the FDA system.

• Translate documents into Thai English,Japanese such as product labels.

• Support Private Brand Department.

• Control procurement payment documents to be consistent with the Thai tax system. and consistent with the work system of the head office in Japan.

• The work assigned by the department is consistent with KPIs.

1.Strategic Planning and Target Management:

•Based on the company's business plan and requirements, organize the development of the department's work plan and budget, and implement them after approval.

•Develop business strategies, and be responsible for research on customer demand surveys, and selection of suitable products for purchase/sale.

2.Market Development and Customer Management:

•Organize the collection of domestic and international market information, and conduct summary and analysis; formulate and continuously adjust sales operation strategies, using a variety of means to develop the market.

3.Team Management and Training:

4.Business Processes and Risk Management:

5.Contract Management and Business Negotiation:

Key Responsibilities

1. Forecast & Inventory Planning

• Develop and maintain sales forecasts for Amazon FBA (USA, Canada, AU) and domestic B2B
• Analyze historical sales, seasonality, promotions, and campaigns to project demand
• Calculate safety stock and reorder points, considering production + shipping lead times
• Optimize shipment size & frequency to balance
  cash flow vs Amazon storage fees
• Monitor FBA IPI score, restock limits, and inventory health

2. Procurement & Supplier Management
