**What does a typical workday look like?**:

Job Description:
An opportunity exists within a large financial services organisation for a UIUX Product Designer as part of a new capability within RDP Content Platform Technology. This role will form part of a new team to be based in Bangkok which will have support both locally and from the wider team. This is a newly formed organisation of circa 450 team members that sits as part of the larger Content Transformation Team of circa 1000 people.

Our goal is to build out the Technology team operating from our strategic site in Bangkok providing experienced and dynamic team members to support multiple roles across our portfolio of global projects. This role will work as part of a scrum team.

Key responsibilities:

- Work alongside a Design Principal and other members of their design squad, following lean and agile product design methodologies
- Follow best practice and relevant design methodologies and processes, working across all stages of the product lifecycle from discovery, through define and to build
- Create new and innovative design solutions that address the very particular needs of our users
- Refine and improve existing designs
- Use and contribute to Halo, our Design System.
- Develop a deep understanding of our users, their needs, behaviors, desires, and bring that insight into the heart of all designs
- Work on issues of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends
- Lead significant projects, programs, and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity
- Determine work priorities based on general direction from managers
- Provide specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues
- Demonstrate clear prioritisation and planning for activities to ensure timely delivery

About you:

- Demonstrable 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and able to show evidence of how brand affects the approach to product design
- Passion for a clean and purposeful design
- The ability to translate high-level product requirements into experiences that our users deserve
- Comfortable with embracing our Halo design system in everything you do, both using and contributing to its evolution and ideally have experience designing or defining design systems
- Strong design, collaboration, and communication skills with evidence of leadership as a senior designer and able to contribute at a team level

Qualifications:

- Experience with Figma is mandatory.
- Good communication in English.
- Knowledge of professional financial design is a bonus, but you will be able to demonstrate hands-on experience of crafting successful user experiences that met business and user needs for complex domains
