Your flexible working week will be Monday to Friday (or can include weekends if you prefer).

You will be report directly to the National Sales Manager (located in Chiang Mai) and you will receive full training & support before you start.

The What’s On In group are rapidly becoming a global brand with their high visibility advertising websites now spreading around the world.

This newly created role is for either an experienced online advertising salesperson or committed motivated individual to generate sales across Thailand. We are seeking salespeople to concentrate on the following cities:

Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, Koh Samui, Krabi, Pattaya and Phuket.

Online advertising is currently worth $89 Billion Globally, and with individuals now searching daily via phones, tablets and laptops, it is no wonder businesses are now more than ever eager to advertise their business via this method.

About You

You will be a committed salesperson eager to get results and achieve.

You must:

  • Be a self-starter
  • Have the ability to work on your own
  • Have strong and successful sale experience and proven history in hitting and maintaining sales targets
  • Be proactive in B2B sales negotiations
  • Possess the drive, motivation and attention to detail in ensuring all available business development opportunities are targeted and secured
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong phone sales, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • The ability to deal directly with decision makers from CEOs to small businesses owners and managers
  • Research skills
  • You will require your own transportation
  • Have a laptop or tablet device

Sales & Remuneration Potential

Sales potential within Thailand is enormous, and your earning capacity in this role is determined by your own commitment and success.

You will be paid weekly as a freelance contractor (not employee) on a commission only basis, earning 50% of all Completed sales each week.

Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in quality management systems, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
+ Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF16949, VDA6.3, etc.).
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, 8D methodology is preferable.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
+ Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified QMS, Six Sigma, Quality Core Tools, etc).

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist to develop the process lay out for new product.
+ Review all customer new product drawing and provide manufacturing feasibility feedback, also assist on Creating DFM.
+ Lead new product testing and generate report for each testing and keep track of all the testing.
+ Preparing the new product tooling's for testing and for qualification builds.
+ Follow up with concern people to get the tooling on time to meet the target date.
+ Provide technical support during production ramp-up, troubleshooting issues as they arise on the shop floor
+ Upon receiving inspect the tooling's and file & maintain the report for reference.
+ Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; make adjustments as necessary.
+ Documentation and Reporting: Develop detailed technical documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and test reports. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Research and develop new stamping processes, materials, and technologies to improve productivity and product quality.
+ Lead All customer new product qualification build.
+ Oversee the fabrication of prototypes and pilot runs. Analyze results and iterate on design or process parameters as needed.
+ Technology Scouting: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Evaluate and recommend new equipment, software, or methodologies for adoption.
+ Should be able to use statistical tools like JMP or Minitab to analyze the data, make data driven decision and address the issues during build.
+ Material Selection and Testing: Collaborate with material scientists to assess new alloys, coatings, or treatments. Conduct tests to verify material formability, durability, and compatibility with stamping processes.
+ Intellectual Property: Contribute to the development and protection of intellectual property by documenting inventions, supporting patent applications, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
+ Deep understanding of stamping principles, tool/die mechanics, material science, and production systems.
+ Creative approach to problem-solving and process improvement, with a passion for pioneering new solutions.
+ Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
+ Rigor in documenting processes, analyzing test results, and ensuring quality standards are met.
+ Proficient in working with cross-functional teams, facilitating knowledge sharing and consensus-building.
+ Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with advances in materials, equipment, and methodologies.
+ Knowledge and experience of press tools, jigs, fixtures manufacturing and maintenance.
+ Able to operate basic tool room machines like grinding, milling & lathe etc.
+ Able to read and write engineering drawings.
+ Able to work under pressure.
