Your responsibilities will include:
Site-related Scope
These responsibilities are primarily related to construction sites, fieldwork, and contractor coordination:
- Lead and coordinate with contractors to monitor compliance with safety, health, security, and environmental requirements across construction projects, familiar with construction project requirements.
- Review and approve contractor HSE plans, method statements, and related documentation.
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure site security, fire safety, first aid, and welfare facilities are in place and compliant.
- Experience in preparing and submitting weekly safety reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and inspections for project sites.

Office-related Scope
These responsibilities are focused on internal systems, employee wellbeing, and office-based HSE management:
- Lead and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support project teams in reviewing and enhancing HSE management systems and performance.
- Provide assistance in operation and implementation of Management System including the occupational health and safety aspect of the Management System.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain integrated approaches to HSE monitoring and implementation.

Risk Assessment and Emergency Preparedness:
In conjunction with the Health and Safety Officer perform comprehensive risk assessments for all school facilities, and advise and ensure comprehensive risk assessments are conducted for activities and operations by other departments.
- Develop and oversee emergency response plans, including drills and evacuation procedures. Ensure all learning from these is acted upon.
- Act as a decision-maker during emergencies or crises, ensuring appropriate responses.
Maintain training in International Standards
Compliance and Audits:
Ensure adherence to local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead regular safety audits and inspections, documenting findings and corrective actions.
Maintain detailed records of all compliance and safety activities.
Training and Staff Development:
Plan and deliver health and safety training for staff, students, and contractors.
- Promote safety awareness through campaigns, workshops, and communications.
7. Incident Management:
- Participate directly in investigating major incidents or complex cases requiring managerial oversight, including on-site assessments to ensure immediate safety measures are implemented.
- Oversee and review routine incident investigations conducted by the Health & Safety Officer, ensuring thoroughness and alignment with safety standards.
- Engage with users to communicate initial safety actions, obtain agreement on preliminary measures, and maintain continuous communication on progress, plans, and implementation.
- Prepare and present detailed reports with actionable recommendations to mitigate future risks, ensuring user alignment on permanent solutions throughout the resolution process
Qualifications:
1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred but can be substituted with extensive relevant experience (Master's degree is an advantage).
- At least 5 years of experience in health and safety management, with a proven track record in leading maintenance and safety improvement projects.
- Prior experience in Health & Safety at an international school of a similar tier to King's College International School Bangkok is highly desirable.
2. Professional Qualifications:
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH International General Certificate, IOSH) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards or equivalent safety management systems is an advantage but not mandatory
- Fire Safety Management or Crisis Management certification is beneficial.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Google / Microsoft Office and safety management systems.

Execute daily facilities operations activities and programs (e.g. building management, safety maintenance/technical upkeep, security, etc.) in accordance to DKSH operations guidelines, governing regulations and service level agreements
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Execute daily facilities administration and maintenance in business premises to comply with DKSH's policies and procedures, regulations and agreed service levels
- Execute and monitor building/premises services (e.g. maintenance records, security/safety checks, office administration, cleaning, catering, waste management, etc.) to support business operations
- Execute facilities activities in compliance with DKSH safety, health and environment requirements and regulations and report issues for management's attention, if any
- Execute space allocation and utilisation plans in existing/new business premises and allocate optimal resources to maximize efficiencies and productivity
- Execute identified cost controls and process improvement initiatives/activities related to facility management in business premises
- Execute safety, security and risk management plans with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g. access card management, electrical wirings, air conditioning, plumbing, waste management, etc.)
- Execute scheduled facility inspections/assessments for business premises and assets (e.g. furniture, utilities, transport services, equipment, etc.)
- Collaborate with stakeholders from government/regulatory bodies on updates/matters related to building/facility safety requirements
Provide updates on facility management work progress with external vendors and follow-up on issues needing management's decision/approval
Demonstrate understanding and application of local regulations into the company's facility management systems and processes

The CRO will head the newly established Risk Management Department (RMD) for Kingfisher Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries (the Group). He or she will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the Group's financial health, security, safety, operations, and reputation and will develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Risk Assessment Job Responsibilities:
· Staff
Actively assist RMC and the Group Human Resources Department in the identification, assessment and recruitment of potential new staff for the RMD, from both outside and inside the Group
· Risk Identification and Assessment:
Identify potential risks across various areas like financial, operational, and compliance, and assessing their potential impact.
· Risk Analysis and Prioritization:
Conduct risk analysis to evaluate the likelihood and potential severity of identified risks and prioritizing them based on their potential impact.
· Policy Development and Implementation
Review and recommend necessary changes to existing Group risk management policies and procedures and, where needed, create RMD policies and procedures, ensuring they are appropriate, up to date and aligned with Group goals and regulatory requirements. Recommend risk appetite levels for approval by RMC.
· Risk Mitigation:
Develop and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate identified risks. This includes creating contingency plans, establishing controls, and working with other departments to address potential

Create contingency plans to manage crises and ensure business continuity in the event of a risk event.

Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree or higher in a relevant study, such as Business, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or Business Administration and related fields.
